We have our consultation with plastic surgery scheduled for Monday! Please pray it goes well and that we’re happy with our surgery plan. I’m a little nervous about it. I know what I want for surgery, but I’m not sure that will be an option… So it’s a little nerve wracking and scary.
I know God is in control- I’m just feeling very vulnerable about it all. So here’s a good reminder for myself…

Isaiah 41:10 – What a great verse that gives peace and comfort as we claim Gods promises in it! It’s so easy to feel anxious and stressed wondering about all the unknowns, but my chiropractor shared with me one day that stress comes from thinking that we are in control of things when, in fact, we are not. Sometimes it takes moment by moment reminders throughout a day that Our Great God, the Omnicient, the Omnipotent, the Great Physician, and God of all comfort is in control of all things and knows the beginning from the end, and every time we remind ourselves of that, what peace it brings.
Yes! We did the engagement project last year in Sunday School with Del Tackett. Part of that was talking about how we get upset when things don’t go according to our script (our way or how we think it should) Instead of being self centered we need to be focused on God. Maybe the bump in the road is there to further His kingdom… And I am so thankful that He is in control and not me! ❤️
